Client is one of the largest Gas Manufacturer in Middle East.They had been using SAP S/4 HANA for their operations.Their turnarounds are generally major ones spanning over 40000 activities. Multiple tools were used to cater to various turnaround requirements.
The inherent scale of the shutdown reflects the multitude activities that need to be planned and carefully orchestrated to avoid cost overruns. Being an SAP shop, the customer does extensive planning of materials leveraging PM Work Orders. However all other activities are disconnected and planned in siloes. Information was scattered across multiple applications and platforms making it impossible to plan and execute efficiently. Updating the work history in SAP was a tedious activity spanning several months post the shutdown.
Customer has leveraged all the solutions of the Massetic Turnaround Stack ranging from the Turnaround Readiness Tool, the comprehensive Planning and Scheduling board together with the mobile add on component for easy activity tracking. Various cross functional teams used the system seamlessly and thus significantly reducing the circulation of information in emails and excel documents. Turnaround Dashboards were custom developed to various stakeholder requirements.
Massetic’s project implementation methodology was leveraged to deploy the solution suite at the customer landscape. Hybrid delivery model was used to have an optimal balance of cost and efficiency.
